Polyfloral Honey
Wildflower Polyfloral Honey
£8.50
A round, seasonal honey from mixed meadow and hedgerow forage.
In stock · 340g
This polyfloral honey is gathered where bees work a changing map of wildflower, lime and blackberry. It is not standardised to a single flavour. The jar in your cupboard will speak of the weeks in which it was made.
We bottle it in small runs, unfiltered beyond a coarse sieve, so pollen and the finer character of the honey remain. Spread on warm bread, stir into plain yoghurt, or take a spoonful as it is.

On crystallisation
Natural crystallisation is a normal characteristic of pure honey. It does not mean that the honey is old or spoiled.
Natural crystallisation is a normal characteristic of pure honey. It does not mean that the honey is old or spoiled. Different types of honey crystallise at different rates, depending on nectar source and storage temperature. To return honey to a liquid state, stand the jar in warm water and stir gently. Do not boil.
