Polyfloral Honey

Late Summer Polyfloral

£11.90

A darker, deeper honey from the last forage of the year.

Taken later in the season, this honey carries more weight — a longer finish, a slightly darker glass. It is the jar we put on the table when the evenings draw in.

Best with rye bread, roasted nuts, or a hard cheese. The larger 500g jar is intended for the kitchen, not the hotel breakfast tray.

On crystallisation

Natural crystallisation is a normal characteristic of pure honey. It does not mean that the honey is old or spoiled.

Natural crystallisation is a normal characteristic of pure honey. It does not mean that the honey is old or spoiled. Different types of honey crystallise at different rates, depending on nectar source and storage temperature. To return honey to a liquid state, stand the jar in warm water and stir gently. Do not boil.
